Texas High School Basketball - Rice Consolidated holds off Moulton
December 12, 2023: Moulton, TX 77975 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) and the host Moulton Bobkatz (Moulton, TX), saw Rice Consolidated's basketball squad hold off Moulton by a tally of 56-51.
With the victory, Rice Consolidated improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX) to confront the Brahmas in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Hallettsville lost 68-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Bobkatz confront the Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Moulton will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
