Mississippi High School Basketball - New Site can't hold off Potts Camp
December 12, 2023: Potts Camp, MS 38659 The Potts Camp Cardinals basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting New Site Royals to 63 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houlka for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Potts Camp will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 68-50 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.
The Royals (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jumpertown (Booneville, MS). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Jumpertown was nudged by Falkner (Falkner, MS), 69-40, in a league contest.
