The Poth Pirates topped the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 55-47 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. Poth will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 14-3 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Seguin (Seguin, TX).
