Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI) and the visiting Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI), saw Pine River Area's basketball squad knock off Tri County Area by a tally of 65-56.

With the victory, Pine River Area improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Lake City (Lake City, MI) to play the Trojans in a Highland challenge on Friday, December 15. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Lake City lost 54-32 in their recent league challenge against Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) in a Central State - Gold challenge, on Friday, December 15. Tri County Area will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 57-41 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MI).
