Michigan High School Basketball - Spring Lake crushes Union
December 12, 2023: Grand Rapids, MI 49504 Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Union Red Hawks (Grand Rapids, MI), 69-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spring Lake upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lakers travel to Grandville (Grandville, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Grandville lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Red Hawks play the Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 66-61 league loss to St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI).
