South Dakota High School Basketball - Winner crushes Stanley County

December 12, 2023: Fort Pierre, SD 57532

Winner Warriors (Winner, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), 56-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Winner upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors host Sully Buttes (Onida, SD) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Sully Buttes won 72-56 in their recent league bout against Lyman (Presho, SD)

Next up, the Buffalos play the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Stanley County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Scotties go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 61-34 non-league win over Bennett County (Martin, SD).
