Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson crushes Steel Valley
December 12, 2023: Munhall, PA 15120 Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA), 73-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Thomas Jefferson upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Montour (McKees Rocks, PA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, December 15. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-1. Montour won 61-49 in their recent non-league test against Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA)
The Ironmen now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Jeannette for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 13. Steel Valley will encounter a Jayhawks squad coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Jayhawks record now stands at 3-2.
