December 12, 2023: Chico, CA 95926 Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 50-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chico upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gridley (Gridley, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Gridley lost 77-47 in their recent non-league bout against Marysville (Marysville, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Chico (Chico, CA).
