December 12, 2023: McLean, VA 22101 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) and the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), saw James Madison's basketball squad hold off McLean by a tally of 38-32.
With the victory, James Madison improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warhawks host George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to confront the Statesmen in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. McLean will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 72-29 non-league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA).
