Massachusetts High School Basketball - Peabody Veterans Memorial can't hold off Masconomet Regional
December 12, 2023: Peabody, MA 01960 The Masconomet Regional Chieftains basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners to 42 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Chieftains now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord-Carlisle for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.
The Tanners (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Beverly edged Marblehead (Marblehead, MA), 51-37, in a league contest.
