December 12, 2023: Temple, TX 76504 Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 57-6 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Temple upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Hutto (Hutto, TX) to play the Hippos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Hippos go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Hutto lost 68-53 in their recent league bout against Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Waco will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 74-26 non-league win over St. Michael's (Austin, TX).
