Minnesota High School Basketball - Washburn tops Apple Valley
December 12, 2023: Apple Valley, MN 55124 Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), 53-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Washburn upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Millers travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Simley lost 67-27 in their recent non-league bout against Twin Cities Academy/Great River (St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Apple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 59-26 non-league win over Mounds Park Academy/Gentry Academy (St. Paul, MN).
