Nebraska High School Basketball - Douglas County West can't hold off Arlington

The Arlington Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Douglas County West Falcon to 47 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tekamah-Herman for a C1 District 6 contest on Saturday, December 16. Arlington will battle a Tigers team coming off a 39-37 league win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

The Falcon (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Raymond Central (Raymond, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Raymond Central edged Syracuse (Syracuse, NE), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
