Texas High School Basketball - Spur nips Aspermont
December 12, 2023: Spur, TX 79370 Spur Bulldogs (Spur, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX), 36-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spur upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Silverton (Silverton, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Hornets play the Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Aspermont will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 37-28 non-league win over Loop (Loop, TX).
