The Pirates now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Bowie will confront a Guardians team coming off a 37-30 non-league win over Maud (Maud, TX). The Guardians record now stands at 6-4.
The Longhorns (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 2A Region III District 21 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Harleton dropped by Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 34-31, in a league battle.
