Oklahoma High School Basketball - Chisholm holds off Tonkawa
December 12, 2023: Tonkawa, OK 74653 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) and the host Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK), saw Chisholm's basketball squad hold off Tonkawa by a tally of 35-29.
With the victory, Chisholm improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Blackwell (Blackwell, OK) to confront the Maroons in a 89er - West challenge on Friday, December 15. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Blackwell lost 44-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Frontier (Red Rock, OK)
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Garber Wolverines (Garber, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Tonkawa will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 54-28 league loss to Dover (Dover, OK).
