December 12, 2023: Edina, MN 55439 The Edina Hornets basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers to 49 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Ridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.
The Lakers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Scots enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Highland Park nudged Recording Arts/Avalon/Venture Academy (St. Paul, MN), 61-28, in a non-league contest.
