Maine High School Basketball - Edward Little overwhelms Mt. Blue
December 12, 2023: Auburn, ME 04210 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) and the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), saw Edward Little's basketball squad wallop Mt. Blue by a tally of 71-15.
With the victory, Edward Little improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red Eddies travel to Portland (Portland, ME) to confront the Bulldogs in a AA North challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Portland won 56-48 in their recent non-league test against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME)
The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Messalonskee for a A North test on Friday, December 15. Mt. Blue will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 72-55 non-league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
