Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX) and the host Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX), saw Schulenburg's basketball squad hold off Florence by a tally of 41-36.

With the victory, Schulenburg improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Shorthorns host Ganado (Ganado, TX) to play the Indians in a 2A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, December 15.
