December 12, 2023: Eveleth, MN 55734 Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines (Eveleth, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN), 66-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN) to clash with the Agates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Agates go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Two Harbors lost 76-34 in their recent non-league bout against South Ridge (Culver, MN)
Next up, the Thunderhawks clash with the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a AAA Section 7 bout, on Friday, December 15. Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 53-49 league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN).
