Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) and the visiting Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA), saw La Mirada's basketball squad overcome Oxford Academy by a tally of 54-34.

With the victory, La Mirada improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Matadores host Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA) to confront the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Los Amigos lost 45-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Magnolia Sentinels (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Oxford Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record.
