In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored a good 43-29 triumph over the Sterling Jets.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 15. Meridian will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 39-31 non-league win over Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE).
