December 12, 2023: Elk City, OK 73644 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK) and the visiting Minco Bulldogs (Minco, OK), saw Merritt's basketball squad wallop Minco by a count of 72-26.
With the victory, Merritt upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Hinton (Hinton, OK) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Amber-Pocasset Panthers (Amber, OK) in a Grady County challenge, on Friday, December 15. Minco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 66-16 league win over Rush Springs (Rush Springs, OK).
