Georgia High School Basketball - Pope crushes North Springs
December 12, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30328 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA), 58-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pope upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Spartans play the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors (Cumming, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. North Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 62-1 league win over Academe of the Oaks (Decatur, GA).
