December 12, 2023: Winooski, VT 05404 The White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) basketball crushed the host Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT), 71-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Sharon Academy was trounced by Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT), 72-20, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Milton for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Winooski will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 57-32 non-league loss to Richford (Richford, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-1.
