McLaughlin Phoenix (Lake Wales, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad smash the host Candlelight Christian Academy Flames (Lake Wales, FL), 67-22 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Phoenix face the Moore Haven Terriers (Moore Haven, FL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 16. McLaughlin will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Terriers enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Avon Park (Avon Park, FL).
