High School Basketball - JV Opponent holds off DC International
December 12, 2023: , Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the JV Opponent (, ) and the visiting DC International Dragons (Washington, DC), saw JV Opponent's basketball squad hold off DC International by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, JV Opponent improves its record to 72-198 on the campaign. The travel to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Wakefield won 65-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC) in a challenge, on Friday, December 15. DC International will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 52-25 league win over Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
