Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Mountain nips Sunrise Mountain
December 12, 2023: Peoria, AZ 85382 Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolves host Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Huskies in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, December 15. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 83-29 non-league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ).
