December 12, 2023: Pinole, CA 94564 The Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Fremont Tigers (Oakland, CA), 51-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Novato (Novato, CA). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Novato was tipped by St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA), 66-39, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to College Park for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. Fremont will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.
