December 12, 2023: Pfafftown, NC 27040 The Watauga Pioneers basketball team (Boone, NC), was routed 71-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC)
The Raiders now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Reagan will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 47-39 non-league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-6.
The Pioneers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Mountain Heritage trounced Pisgah (Canton, NC), 45-25, in a non-league battle.
