New York High School Basketball - Williamsville North can't hold off St. Francis
December 12, 2023: Williamsville, NY 14221 The St. Francis Red Raiders basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Williamsville North Spartans to 35 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orchard Park for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. St. Francis will battle a Quakers team coming off a 74-59 non-league loss to Amherst Central (Amherst, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 0-2.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Flames come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Williamsville East was nudged by St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
