The Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY) basketball were winner over the host Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), 48-31 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cobras now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Institute of Tech for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Bishop Grimes will play a Eagles team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
