December 12, 2024: Blevins, AR 71825 Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), 67-63 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Prescott advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Curley Wolves host Arkansas (Texarkana, AR) to meet the Razorbacks in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Razorbacks enter the match with a record of 0-5. Arkansas lost 55-43 in their recent non-league match against Hope (Hope, AR)
The Hornets now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Ida for a 1A Region 7 match on Friday, December 13. Blevins will meet a Lions squad coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, AR). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
