Missouri High School Basketball - Carthage overwhelms Leavenworth
December 12, 2024: Carthage, MO 64836 The Carthage Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Leavenworth PIONEERS to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Webb City for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Carthage will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Southside (Fort Smith, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Leavenworth falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Piper (Kansas City, KS) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 2-0.
