Mississippi High School Basketball - Central Holmes Christian trounced by Tri-County Academy
December 12, 2024: Lexington, MS 39095 Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Central Holmes Christian Trojans (Lexington, MS), 72-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tri-County Academy advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS) to face the Cougars in a MAIS 4A District 4 match on Friday, January 3. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 7-7.
The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Porter's Chapel Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19.
