In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Century Patriots basketball team scored a good 73-63 triumph over the Pine Ridge Thorpes.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Campbell County (Gillette, WY). The Camels go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Campbell County was topped by St. Thomas More (Rapid City, SD), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
