December 12, 2024: LaFayette, AL 36862 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL) and the host Chambers Academy Rebels (LaFayette, AL), observed Hooper Academy's basketball team knock off Chambers Academy by a score of 62-52.
The Colts (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilcox Academy (Camden, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Wilcox Academy was knocked off by Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL), 53-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Trinity Christian Eagles (Opelika, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Chambers Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
