The Desert Scorpions basketball squad (Edwards AFB, CA), was crushed 55-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA)

With the victory, Silver Valley advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Trojans host University Prep (Victorville, CA) to meet the Jaguars in a Cross Valley battle on Friday, December 13. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 2-4. University Prep won 43-39 in their recent league battle against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA)

The Scorpions now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frazier Mountain for a High Desert battle on Friday, December 13. Desert will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 38-22 non-league win over Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
