In Thursday's league contest, the host Douglas County West Falcon basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Fort Calhoun Pioneers.

The Falcon (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, NE). The Eagles go into the C1 District 4 contest with a 1-2 record.
