Arkansas High School Basketball - Harmony Grove trounced by Junction City
December 12, 2024: Junction City, AR 71749 Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Harmony Grove Hornets (Camden, AR), 62-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Junction City advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Dragons travel to Poyen (Poyen, AR) to meet the Indians in a 2A Region 8 match on Friday, December 13. The Indians enter the match with a record of 6-3. Poyen won 55-49 in their recent league match against Woodlawn (Rison, AR)
The Hornets now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bearden for a non-league match on Monday, December 16. Harmony Grove will meet a Bears squad coming off a 66-54 league win over Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
