The Howard Wildcats bounced the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 80-40 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 13. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Stags enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 75-60 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
