In Thursday's non-league test, the South Ridge Mavericks (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers (Apache Junction, AZ), by a score of 46-35.

Next, the Mavericks encounter the Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ) in a Canyon Division 2 - Roadrunner test, on Thursday, December 19. South Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Imagine Prep Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Imagine Prep Coolidge beat Harvest Prep Academy (Yuma, AZ), 51-43, in a non-league test.
