Wisconsin High School Basketball - Southwestern sneaks past Ithaca
December 12, 2024: Richland Center, WI 53581 The Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) basketball edged the host Ithaca Bulldogs (Richland Center, WI), 62-56 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Friday, December 13. Southwestern will play a Chieftains team coming off a 85-37 league loss to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Ithaca falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Weston (Cazenovia, WI) to play the Silver Eagles in a Ridge & Valley bout on Friday, December 13. The Silver Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Weston lost 54-48 in their recent league bout against Kickapoo (Viola, WI)
