December 12, 2024: White Plains, NY 10603 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes (White Plains, NY) and the visiting Katzenbach School for the Deaf (Trenton, NJ), observed New York School for the Deaf's basketball team knock off Katzenbach School for the Deaf by a score of 41-31.
The Golden Tornadoes (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Delaware School for the Deaf (Newark, DE). The Blue Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Delaware School for the Deaf was knocked off by Towle Institute (Hockessin, DE), 51-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the encounter the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts (Framingham, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Katzenbach School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Galloping Ghosts come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 57-39 league win over Waring (Beverly, MA).
