December 12, 2024: Saratoga, TX 77585 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) and the host West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), observed Memorial's basketball team overwhelm West Hardin by a score of 73-38.
The Mavericks (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Burkburnett trounced Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 61-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Oilers battle the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. West Hardin will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
