The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles basketball squad (Highlands Ranch, CO), was nudged 59-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ)

With the victory, St. Mary's advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Knights host Overland (Aurora, CO) to meet the Trailblazers in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Tan Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, December 13.
