The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) and the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), observed Overton's basketball team knock off Pewitt by a score of 54-36.

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Roughnecks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, White Oak prevailed over Queen City (Queen City, TX), 38-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Brahmas encounter the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Pewitt will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
