In Thursday's non-league test, the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays (Beloit, KS) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS), by a score of 62-54.

Next, the Blujays clash with the Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. St. John's/Tipton Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
