December 12, 2024: Fairdale, KY 40118 Fairdale Bulldogs (Fairdale, KY) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Waggener Wildcats (Louisville, KY), 57-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fairdale advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Waggener will meet a Shamrocks squad coming off a 64-61 non-league loss to Male (Louisville, KY). The Shamrocks record now stands at 1-1.
