Oklahoma High School Basketball - Chandler holds off Morris
December 12, 2024: Chandler, OK 74834 The Chandler Lions basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Morris Eagles to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host North Rock Creek for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Chandler will confront a Cougars team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Morris falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Henryetta (Henryetta, OK) to confront the Knights in a Big Eight Star game on Friday, December 13. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-2. Henryetta lost 61-41 in their recent non-league game against Eufaula (Eufaula, OK)
